Jackall has done it again. For the 2012 season Jackall has introduced three new soft plastic baits that are sure to get every bass fisherman's attention, especially drop-shot fishermen. First, there is the Clone series of baits the include the Clone Fry, and the Clone Gill. Both these baits are made of a very soft plastic that allows the bait to give off very subtle, very natural movements, just like the natural baitfish that bass feed on in our area lakes. The Clone Fry was designed to perfectly match the profile of any type of minnow that can be found in our area. With it's thin, tapered tail, this bait is going to be ideal for drop-shoting, giving off subtle vibrations of the tail with the slightest movement that will drive bass CRAZY!!!!
The Clone Gill is by far the coolest bait coming to the market this year. The cool thing about this bait is that it is made to look EXACTLY like a small bluegill, which everyone knows is one of the favorite foods of bass everywhere. Whether rigged on a drop-shot, or a jig head, this is going to be the bait for bedding bass. Just like the Clone Fry, the Clone Gill is made off a super soft plastic, which allows very natural movement of the bait, especially the tail. This is one bait you will not want be without whether you are fishing Lake Geneva or Delevan in or Wisconsin, or the local ponds in our neighborhoods right here in the Northwest suburbs.
Last but certainly not least is the brand new Super Cross Tail Shad. This brand new bait is a cross between two proven producers, the Cross Tail Shad and the Super Pintail. It is made to have a very realistic profile, which comes from the Super Pintail, and the fin on the tail gives it a very nice wavy tail, which comes from the Cross Tail Shad. If your a drop shot fisherman, you will definetly want to add this bait to your arsenal, especially for the super clear waters which can be found in some of the lakes in our area.
All three of these baits are offered in eight different color patterns to help match the hatch even more! Make sure to give these baits a shot on your next trip, and be ready to hang on once your on the water!!!!
